not polished. Just real.

KARMI believes that living more authentically starts with curiosity. Not with polishing yourself into someone new, but with looking closer at what is already there: your stories, preferences, contradictions, experiences and perspectives. Because unlike a diamond, you don’t need to be polished to have value.

Hi, I am Diana.

I was born in Colombia and grew up in Switzerland, somewhere between two cultures. For a long time, I wanted to fit in. I wished I looked different and often felt that who I was wasn’t quite right.

When my mother died during my teenage years, I learned early that life doesn’t always follow the plan. Still, I thought being a strong woman meant keeping everything together and carrying on as if nothing had happened.

It was only later, through honest conversations with my aunts and cousins, that I began to see strength differently. Their lives weren’t perfect. They struggled, made mistakes, started over — and slowly taught me to be proud of my own story too.

My aunt Carmiña especially stayed with me. Despite everything she went through, she was never afraid to be herself. Her jewellery was bold, unusual, and impossible to ignore — just like her.

She inspired K A R M I: sculptural jewellery and experiences that spark curiosity, celebrate authenticity over perfection and invite women to discover more of themselves through the stories they carry.

Beyond KARMI.

I’m naturally curious about people and the stories behind them. I think a lot, write about life in my personal blog (supergirl.blog), and love conversations that go beyond small talk. I feel most energised around people I care about — especially when there is room to be honest, laugh, and see things from a new perspective.

being seen should never feel like a risk.

My Mission.

I want women to get curious about themselves, discover more of who they are and feel the freedom to live more authentically.

Atelier of Stories

I create bold, sculptural jewellery shaped by personal stories and the beauty of what makes us unique. Each piece turns something meaningful into something you can wear with purpose.
